Our New Tailgate cables replace your old noisy metal tailgate straps on your classic truck. This direct replacement cables are an easy 5 minute install. No more rattles, rust and or paint flaking off.
*Please measure your current strap length to verify someone hasn't swapped out the tailgate, latches and or striker plates with ones from a different year.
- 1973-75 is 15.5" from center of eyelet to center of slotted pin on tailgate. Reference picture.
- 1976-87 is 16" from center of eyelet to center of slotted pin on tailgate.
Cables come with all necessary mounting hardware.
