Product Description
Includes new brackets, bearing adapters, hardware and instructions for adapting 1968-72 Chevelle, A-Body GM passenger car, 68-74 Nova or 69 Camaro rotors and 1973-77 Camaro, Chevelle, Monte Carlo passenger calipers and Mounting Pins (not included) to early truck spindles. Note: Some spindles have a 1/2" lower mounting hole, in this case, the caliper bracket can be drilled out to 1/2" and a 1/2" bolt is used in place of the supplied 7/16" bolt. Note: Caliper bracket mounts to outside of the spindle with caliper to the front of the vehicle. Note: The adapter is machined slightly under-size so that it is a press-fit on the spindle. To install lightly heat the adaptor with a torch and install it while hot. This may also be done in a kitchen oven if a torch is not accessable. Note: Some spindles may require machining of the 3/4" section of the spindle back a few thousandths of an inch to allow the bearing to fully seat. Kit will need part# 71-975B.
